Politico’s Women Rule: LA Summit 2018

I led the visual design for POLITICO's Women Rule: LA Summit 2018, a major half-day conference held at NeueHouse Los Angeles on June 4th. This was POLITICO's first West Coast event of its kind, bringing together over 300 influential leaders from business, media, politics, philanthropy, and entertainment to discuss gender equity and women's leadership. The summit covered important topics ranging from equal pay and career growth to how women can use their influence to create positive change in today's world.

My responsibilities included designing how the main stage looked, creating animated graphics for the digital screens throughout the venue, and developing all the printed materials like programs and signage that attendees would see and use. The project involved working closely with POLITICO's team while coordinating with multiple local vendors to bring everything together smoothly. The key challenge was creating a visual approach that felt both professional and inspiring—something that would reflect the summit's goal of empowering women while staying true to POLITICO's reputation as a serious news organization.
