Georgetown ‘Closer to Impact’ Campaign
Role: Art Director & Designer
Brand identity and campaign for Closer to Impact, created for Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy as it moved to a new home in downtown Washington, D.C.
The campaign centered on a simple idea: moving closer to the places where policy happens creates more opportunities to shape it. The new campus brought students, faculty, policymakers, researchers, and community partners into closer proximity.
The Challenge
Turn a campus move into something bigger than a change of address. The campaign needed to communicate what being in the heart of Washington could mean for McCourt, while still feeling rooted in the school’s mission and academic credibility.
The Solution
The goal was to make proximity feel active and purposeful, not just geographic. I developed the visual identity around the idea of closing distance. The system uses bold typography, scale, and spatial relationships to express movement toward people, institutions, and ideas.
